April is Testicular Cancer Awareness month,

a great reminder for you to

CHECK YOUR BOYS!

I know, maybe this a little weird since this is a taboo topic, but I know from experience how hard it is to watch a friend or family member go through cancer.. and trust me, it is one of the hardest things that someone can go through.

So catch it early.

HOW DO I CHECK MYSELF?

Well, if you are unsure go to this link: http://www.testicularcancersociety.org/testicular-self-exam.html

In case that doesn’t work, here is a quick visual.

If you don’t think this is serious well, here are some hard facts.
  • Testicular Cancer is the MOST common form of cancer in men ages 15-35.
  • In the U.S. about 8850 men are diagnosed a year and 410 die from it.
    • That is enough for every hour of everyday, some poor fellow hears, “You have testicular cancer”
  • It is one of the most treatable cancers, especially if caught early.
  • Men themselves, not doctors, usually find the testicular cancer. This is why it’s so important to have regular self exams!

Are you a man? Then self exam!!
