Mankato’s Director of Public Safety Todd Miller is retiring in June.

Miller said he will help with the transition to a new director beginning in April, “Hoping that we’ve left it in a good position, better than when I came, and I’ve prepared the staff to be able to take over and move it to the next level after I’m gone.”

Miller retires after 46 years in law enforcement.  He added he plans to move to Texas to be with family. He came to Mankato in 2010.
