The Blue Earth County Historical Society is opening a new exhibit on Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. titled “100 Years & A Million Stories: A History of the American Legion.” This exhibit will be on display through June 1, 2019 and is free and open to the public.
Throughout its 100-year history, Blue Earth County’s American Legion Posts and Auxiliary groups have played a major role in our communities. This exhibit highlights the history of the American Legion, the Mankato Lorentz Post 11 and other Posts throughout the County. Explore the history, community service, and camaraderie that have shaped the enduring legacy of the American Legion through their stories.
