The House DFL Majority has announced a new transportation budget. Rep. Frank Hornstein, Chair of the Transportation Division says it will address the safety risks posed by our aging infrastructure and make the roads safer for all Minnesotans.

The budget includes a five cents per-year gas tax increase over the next four years; an increase in tab fees for some, while Minnesotans with older cars will see a reduction in tab fees; and increases the sales tax on cars from 6.5% to 6.875%.
