The Minneapolis Final Four was projected to generate about 140-million-dollars of economic impact for Minnesota and the C-E-O of the local organizing committee is hopeful they hit that mark over the weekend:

“I think we got the out of town visitors numbers that we expected to see. We certainly had attendance at the different events that were possibly in the top three, we don’t have numbers yet. We know we broke records inside of U-S Bank Stadium for that young venue, so we’re feeling confident that our economic impact will be there.”

Kate Mortenson says it will likely take up to a month to get all of the numbers independently tabulated to know exactly how much money the festivities generated.
