A 9-1-1 call brought Orono PD to the Lake Minnetonka area home of Businessman and former Vikings minority owner Irwin Jacobs.

“Upon entering we found two individuals deceased. One adult male, one adult female. And they were both inside the house. And a gun was recovered.”

Police Chief Correy Farniok confirmed this afternoon the investigation is ongoing. There was no official identification of the victims. Several media outlets are citing sources that say the bodies are that of Jacobs and his wife. Along with his stake in the Vikings, Jacobs also once owned Grain Belt beer and its signature brewery in northeast Minneapolis.
