The state needs more substitute teachers–says teacher’s union president Denise Specht with Education Minnesota. Specht says the state is at “a crisis point” trying to find substitutes to fill in positions.

“What this does is add a lot of chaos and churns and uncertainty within a school district as we’re trying to operate and do teaching and learning on a day-to-day basis.”

Specht joins North Dakota education officials in Moorhead this morning (WED 8:30) to address the challenges of educating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
