Amazon warehouse workers in Minnesota are over twice as likely to be injured on the job as counterparts who work for other companies:

Dad Ali contends the forced work pace causes injuries and employees then get the “runaround” on medical care:

“You’re expected to work like a machine.  Then that rate causes injuries.  When you get the injury… they make things extremely complicated and then you get to the doctors that they have, which you do not get the proper care… (from).  And then the fourth issue is you suffer financially.”

In a statement Amazon says they take the safety and health of their employees very seriously.  The company adds, “While we know we’re not perfect, this report ignores the perspectives of the vast majority of our employees in Minnesota, who tell us that they’re proud to work at Amazon and feel supported in their roles.”
