Winter is here and so is winter driving. For teens who don’t have experience on icy, snowy roads, Triple-A Minnesota’s Meredith Mitts recommends to parents:

“If you can find an empty parking lot it is a great place that you can go and practice getting stuck in minimal amounts of snow and teach vital things like how to stop, how long you need to stop and what anti-lock brakes feel like.”

Mitts also recommends telling teens to check to make sure there’s plenty of washer fluid.
