The Kim Potter case is now in the hands of the jury. Former U-S attorney for Minnesota Tom Heffelfinger predicts:

“It’s my opinion the jury’s going to be out for a while on this case, I do not see a very rapid verdict.”

Heffelfinger says that’s because the details of the case are complicated. He does predict if the jury comes back rapidly, it may be with a guilty verdict because the tragedy of the event outweighs anything else under consideration.
