Minneapolis-based Target announced today new safety measures that will go into effect Saturday to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.

The retailer will begin actively monitoring and, when needed, meter guest traffic, to promote social distancing. In addition, plexiglass partitions will be installed at all registers along with floor signage to encourage guests and team members to remain six feet apart. Target will also supply its team members in stores and distribution centers with face masks and gloves to wear at work.
