Cleanup is underway today after tornadoes rolled across parts of Minnesota into Wisconsin Sunday.
National weather service teams will be in two Minnesota counties and Western Wisconsin today assessing damage from the severe storms. There were no injuries reported, but as many as nine homes were damaged by a tornado near Scandia, while a second storm was reported just east of Silver Lake. A third reported tornado in Central Minnesota near Foley reportedly did not cause any major damage to structures. Meanwhile across the border in Polk County, Wisconsin, a tornado reportedly ripped through an area that had already spent the weekend cleaning up from more storms that rolled through just a week ago.
