Walgreens will close 200 stores in the United States in an effort to cut costs.
The pharmacy giant says the closures account for less than 3% of the 10,000 stores located across the U.S.
The company says a majority of the employees would be retained at nearby stores.
A complete list of store closures is not released at this time.
