Minnesota’s pheasant season opens tomorrow (Saturday) morning. The DNR’s Dan Ruiter:
“The pheasant index is down from 2018 and it’s down 11 percent from the 10-year average. But we’re really optimistic that we’re going to have a good season.”
Ruiter says they’re seeing good pheasant numbers in Brown, Yellow Medicine, and Big Stone counties — basically that southwest quadrant of the state.
