Minnesota Department of Health Commissioner Jan Malcom says there were some mixed numbers in Wednesday’s COVID-19 report.
“We see relative stability in the growth pattern towards what will still expect to be the peak in late June or even into July,” said Malcom. “But we also see some concerning signs such as increasing ICU capacity.”
MDH reported 33 coronavirus deaths Wednesday, matching the single-day high during the pandemic. She adds 260 COVID-19 patients statewide in ICU beds, the highest total the state has seen thus far.
