(St. Paul, MN) — Health officials say ICU beds in Minnesota are filled to a record level for the pandemic as the COVID wave continues. Officials say 98-percent of adult intensive care beds are occupied with both COVID and non-COVID patients. Over 15-hundred people were hospitalized for COVID-related illnesses as of Friday, with almost 350 in ICU. State officials say Minnesotans can reduce the pressure on hospitals by getting COVID vaccinations and limiting their exposure to gatherings and crowds.
