(Minneapolis, MN) — Nearly one-million frontline workers in Minnesota will receive a bonus check. State officials announced the checks for just under 490-dollars earlier this month, saying it’s a show of appreciation for people who worked through the COVID-19 pandemic. Applicants who signed up for direct deposits will receive the money within seven to ten days; others will receive checks in the mail within four weeks.
